Hi everyone,
I thought I should start a build thread if I'm going to be a member on here.

So I've had a tank for for almost 5 years, my current tank is my fourth within that time. I started with a little 125 litre tank and gradually increased in size.
My current tank is 5x2x2 and was built to my specifications by Seashell.
It's been up and running now for around 2 years. Within that time I've had a wipeout via whitespot and had to do 2 fallow periods as I think I cross contaminated during the first fallow period. Thankfully I was able to save my fish that last time they got it. I now QT every fish I purchase and treat with Avaclor for 3 weeks before adding to the tank.

Current equipment list is:
3 x AI Hydra 52 leds
1 x MP40 Wes
1MP40QD
Deltec SC1455 skimmer
Deltec FR509 reactor
Jebao dc12000 return pump
jebao DP4 dosing pump

Current fish list:

Lipstick tang
Regal tang
Yellow tang
Powder blue tang
Christmas wrasse
Peacock wrasse
Tank bread black clownfish x2
Bartlet Anthias x4

Anyway here's a few quick pics of my tank as it sits at present. Any advice, tips etc are most welcome.
Sorry for the poor quality pictures, these were ok quickly using the iPad but I will get some better ones when I get the camera out.
Thanks for looking in!

Hi Zhenya,
Thanks for your comment.
Marine and Reef keeping is getting more popular which is good. The only issue tho is trying to get nice corals. The corals in our LFS aren't great and overpriced so any decent ones need to be shipped in which can get expensive.

It's filled in beautifully. Impressive how you've been able to maintain a clean back panel and such a clean sand bed.

Thanks Tahoe, I clean the back panel weekly with a scraper. The sand bed is kept clean buy 3 brislte starfish, I had a sandsifter but it died a while ago. I've only got about 3 snails as well so I guess the bristle stars are picking up any uneaten food etc
