My tank has been running for years and it’s infested with bubble algae and aiptasia. I’ve tried berghia but with my wrasses it’s just expensive fish food.

I’m downsizing to a 50g but I will be reusing live rock to avoid a new cycle. Is it ever feasible to eradicate both pests? Lowering phosphate/nitrate only upsets my corals and manual removal is burning me out slowly.

You need either a Kleine Butterfly fish or Copperband butterfly for the Aiptasia. Watching them disappear is a wonderful feeling. My A-eaters have made me unconcerned about the glass anemones because if they are still in there they are getting eaten faster than I can find them anymore?

Bubble algae, my Foxfaces removed that problem as well.

No matter how many you have, these fishes will eat the problem away fairly quickly ime.
