Hi,
I currently have a coral beauty angelfish and a longnose hawkfish in quarantine and I suspect that the angel has some internal parasites, as it has started to refuse eating (and grazing) and has white stringy poop (as opposed to the large green waste it had upon arrival). I am ready to treat it with Fritz Expel-P, though the current pack that I own is about a month expired. Will this still be okay to dose or should I just buy a new one?

My understanding is that medications rarely "expire" - they just have reduced or diminished effectiveness after the stated expiration date. You could always treat with what you have and pickup another one?

This would be my opinion as well. Plus 1 month isn’t THAT expired

It is safe to use. I put my powdered meds in the freezer tbh. I keep them long last the expired date. Some you can’t even buy anymore.

If it's in a dry format and not a liquid or gel then it's most likely just fine. When there are drug shortages the FDA and manufacturer routinely extend the expiration dates of drugs.
