So I received some acro frags the other day. I acclimated and glued them to the rock work. But apparently I didn’t do a good enough job with my bubble bath unicorn frag because it after leaving and coming back after a bit I found it had fallen… into my pink ******* chalice. It was hard to see what the damage was at the time.(it was lights out time) so I glued it back on the rock hoping for the best. After work I came back to pretty much this:

It’s mostly bleach white with that about a cm of what I think is flesh.

Is it even possible to come back from this level of damage?

Chalices are butt holes

Yes, the remaining flesh looks healthy. I’d frag off the healthy tip and re-mount it.
Do you have any recommendations for a cutting tool? The only fragging tools I have are the brs kit and I’m pretty sure the cutters in that kit would probably destroy what’s left of the drag. They’re too imprecise and crush more than they actually cut.

I absolutely do!! This rotary tool with flexible extender shaft is what I use, it makes clean cuts and is super easy to use. I hang the unit from something sturdy, then use the diamond cutting disc with the extender, almost like when you see the dentist with his power tools: https://amzn.to/4ivGVBW

Check out my build thread if you like, a couple months ago I went on a fragging spree with this tool, worked like a charm. You won't have to worry about breaking or crushing corals like you would with bone cutters, and it's way cheaper and takes up less space than a coral bandsaw.
