Is it dying?

i am not sure if this is normal or not. I keep seeing the color in the candy cane disappear in the back. Is it dying and if it is, how can I save it? Here is a picture.

All parameters are normal and stable. I have had him for about a month or so.

When you say normal, what are the numbers? Lighting? Flow?

The lighting is a fluval marine light 3.0
Carbon is 440
Alkalinity is 9
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Water flow is at 10% of the maxspect
