About 3 weeksAgree. Avoid the temptation to move them. How long have you had them?
I haven’t been feeding to often but I’ll have to get in thatAre you feeding twice a week?
Mine hates me if I miss 1 feeding.
I would at least aim for once a week. They love food.I haven’t been feeding to often but I’ll have to get in that
Do I need special coral food? Or can I feed mysis shrimp?I would at least aim for once a week. They love food.
I am as well. In my own experiences. Once they grow a new head, they really start to grow. Takes time to get them going though.I've been feeding my 2 frags mysis once per week and a little slurry of roids . They seem to really puff up after eating..as long as the shrimp doesn't steal it lol
I'm waiting for additional heads to form, guess it could take awhile
I usually don’t have much luck getting them to eat mysis. It usually just blows away with the flow before they get a chance to eat it. Do you have any tips to help get it to their mouths?Any shrimp works. As long as it isn't fresh water or cooked. And some people feed them pellet foods, reef roids. But, no, you don't need anything special.
Noted thanks I will do that when it’s feeding timeI turn all water circulation off for 10 minutes. No one minds. It gives the corals time to get their food.
would a turkey blaster work?FYI - If you want to "target" feed them, cut a small water bottle or pop bottle at the lid to make a cone, then place it over the coral and squirt your stuff down in there, that way you'll know they are getting a good chunk and nobody is stealing it.
