It was open mostly this morning now he looks like this. I purchased it on Monday and it hasn’t been open 99% of the time and has been hiding.
It’s looked like this all day. The bottom is expanded and stuck to the side. The tentacles look like in the photo.

My bta and all of my fish and corals are completely fine and doing great it’s only this anemone. My bta I purchased yesterday is open today and seems perfect.

Water levels are perfect. Tank and pump etc was all cleaned today.

I’m scared because this is the 2nd anemone I’ve purchased. My first one, the same as this one, died and nuked my tank and killed a clownfish and a yellow blue tang. So I’m very paranoid about when to take this out of my tank if it’s dead.

it does not look dead to me, but it also doesn't look happy. When nems die, they fall apart and disintegrate rather rapidly. keep an eye on it...

Nems are a tricky thing. Most tend to be abused and starved (light and food) before you even get them. Then if they were improperly removed and their foot gets torn, it can open them up to a bacterial infection. You best course of action would be to set up a hospital tank and dose cipro. but do your research first. And just FYI most anemones do not mix well with others. In theory, this could be chemical warfare between the BTA and I think is looks like a condy or a Haitian.
