I have 1 gbta and just wanted to get an experienced persons opinion

The lights are probably the issue. Take a look at those reef lights we talked about

what the heck as we are talking my nem just ate my peppermint shrimp what do I do

It's part of the circle of life. It may open back up and the shrimp is fine.
 
They ball up as a defense. The shrimp may have been stealing food or just irritated it. It could go either way.
 
I hope it does. If not, it will provide a healthy meal for the nem.

Are going sure it's not hiding. They are extremely valuable since the exoskeleton is soft. They have to wait for a bit for the skeleton to harden.

I checked all the regular hideouts and all the shrimps recently shed
