If BTA is full and happy I don't think param issueBta can eat fish, but generally will only catch sick and dying ones.
How new is the tank? How have fish looked before dying? How quickly do deaths occur? What are params?
Yes, but it’s still always a good idea to check just to be on the safe side.If BTA is full and happy I don't think param issue

It's a 90 gallon, bow front corner tank. My fish seem perfectly healthy, then one night they don't eat & they next they are dead! I have lost 3 anthias and now my lemark angel. My Ph is low again too, but is that because the fish died or the reason? We do have a terrible alge problem we are trying to treat as well, could that be it?Hi. I have now lost 4 fish! I am worried it may be my bubble tip anemone? He is smaller & his tentacles are not as plump, but he’s found his happy place, but I am just sick about my fish
did you add chemicals? what are the params? (maybe dino toxin?) From the sound of it, it seems like you may be dealing with disease. Any white or discolored spots on fish? "yawning", itching against rocks? It's a 90 gallon, bow front corner tank. My fish seem perfectly healthy, then one night they don't eat & they next they are dead! that sounds like illness and/or parameter issues. Not eating is a big sign of illness but what are all of your parameters as well? Please see the above request for specific information on the tank. We're going to need more and specific info to help. It's a 90 gallon, bow front corner tank. does uronema cause loss of appetite? RN it seems like velvet to me, maybe brought in by the BTA.Any red marks on the anthias? They are highly susceptible to uronema.
My tank is a 90 gallon, bow front corner. We set it up in January. We only use ROI water, run 2 cannister filters an a power head. We have been dealing with alge, green hair and red slime, so we added a protein skimmer and snails, hermits, sea urchins, It's still not under control. I have lost 3 anthias and now my lemark angel. The fish all looked healthy, just didn't eat one night, then they were dead the next morning. My Ph is low, but is that because the fish died or why they died? We only test once a week.Hi. By the very end, a lot of diseases will cause a loss of appetite. I don’t know if that is specific to uro with appetite loss. It’s more of a connection with the anthias, though that doesn’t explain the angel.does uronema cause loss of appetite? RN it seems like velvet to me, maybe brought in by the BTA.
How low is low? Anything with params usually would affect inverts first. A lot can affect pH but it’s generally not a big killer. My tank is a 90 gallon, bow front corner. We set it up in January. The BTA is not full, but has finally stopped moving around right in front of an outflow. He's about 1/3 size from when I bought him.If BTA is full and happy I don't think param issue
What are the actual numbers of the parameters though? Algae is most likely because of the cannister filters, they need to be cleaned at least 2 times everyweek unless they start increasing phosphates and nitrates. Ran a cannister before and would never do it again, too much of a PITAMy tank is a 90 gallon, bow front corner. We set it up in January.
