New frag just received, not sure if it’s dead on arrival,no signs of green center flesh and has yet to puff up?

I have never had any luck with candy canes. Have you tried dipping it?

When you say “just arrived” how long are you talking? Candy canes are sensitive to too much flow and parameter changes. I can’t see a flesh band on yours (not a good sign at all) and there seems to be a fair amount of skeleton. As @Gumbies R Us asked, did you dip? If you haven’t, take it out and do one. They do take time to acclimate, especially after shipping and parameters that surely don’t match our tanks on arrival. If it doesn’t open up in a few days, move it to a low light and very slow flow area and see if it helps. I hope it turns around for you!

No will try soon I’m letting it be ,going to see if it comes back everything else in tank is doing good, easily in morning with lights off I could see little specks of white in center thought it was sand but it’s not
