Is my candy cane/trumpet/calaustrea happy?

When I first got this polyp a week ago it was pretty shrunken. Now it’s puffy almost all of the time, but it’s also getting pinker. When I first got it it would puff up and then deflate and then puff up again and then deflate again. At that point it was almost all blue-green. Is this pink/red color ok? If it was bleaching would it be turning white?

Looks happy enough. The color morphing is likely due to the change in lighting. Try and match the lighting and parameters from where you got it.

Interesting color. I've only seen the neon yellow/green one. If it puffs up I'd say it's doing ok. Do the feelers come out after lights out?

I would be concerned with the color change mostly because I have never heard of a pink/red trumpet. Could be related to lighting but could it possibly be something besides a trumpet?

It might not be a trumpet coral. I was told it was, but none of the coral frags were labeled. I do run my lights pretty white and when it’s under bluer lights in my tank it is more of a neon teal color. I have never seen it extend any tentacles even after lights off. That’s my main concern. Should feeding tentacles be easy to see on a coral like this?

From the pic it looks good to me. As Jeeperz said the feeding tentacles come out after dark.
Mine don’t come till about 1am. So about 3 hours after the are off.
