My Maxima clam just sits moderately open and doesnt react to quick light change. However it does react to plankton feeding; opening and shutting. im worried I bleached it. My perameters are fine. not to sure on lighting though. Running a tuna blue Kessil, and the clam sits almost didectly under it.

Not reacting to light changes is not optimal, especially for small clams.

The feeding behavior sounds like the clam is getting too much food in its gills and it’s trying to expel water to clear them.
