Is my little gsp dead ?

My kids bought me a small gsp frag for my tank April 1 (way to early). It was doing good for a while and seemed happy. I started to get a diatom bloom and it stopped opening and now it looks like it is melting. Does that mean it’s dead?

I’d say it has a good chance. If it has any algae on it, lightly blow it or brush it off.

I have a hydra 26HD. I am concerned because it now has all those gaping holes. It didn’t have before.
