I am starting to do the research on what type of pump to get for my system and just want to get some expert opinions to double check my math. I am going to have a sump (50gal) in my basement with the display tank (54gal) in an above ground room that does not have any of the basement underneath it. Because of this I am going to have to have some longer than normal plumbing
Total Vertical = 11 feet 3 inches
Total Horizontal = 30 feet
90 Degree Bends = 8
Total Lift Required 22 feet
I’ve been looking at the pumps at BRS and it seems like an external pump like the Iwaki 55RT or the Varios 10 will be required to get about 500-600gph. Without going over $1000 are there any other pumps that could provide that output with that lift? Also I assume the Power Usage wattage displayed on BRS is per hour?
