Is my monti a goner?

Hello,

Newbie here. I have a Evo 13.5 with a cheap Fluval marine led. A reefing friend of mine gave me a piece on Monti that I placed in the center of the tank a few months ago. It started fine and actually started to encrust (possibly visible in pics). Recently it started to turn white not on the edges but in the center. Attached photos. In the lack of color is pretty evident. Thanks in advance!

Probably if you don't update your lighting soon.
Edit: I'm surprised you're growing anything, maybe it's not the lights.
