Just looking for a little reassurance before filling our brand new tank with water. It’s a 62gallon rimless Tideline. We had a fairly large gap on both ends originally with the manufacturer installed leveling mat even laying on a flat surface (first two photos). So in thinking there may be an issue with the leveling mat we removed that and again compared the flatness of just the glass itself now and there is still a slight bow towards the outer edges when using a straight edge level (last two photos). Am I just overthinking this and we’re all good as long as a new mat is used? Or is this slight gap going to be a problem? We can maybe fit the thickness of a few playing cards under it on both ends.

That glass is completely off!! I would contact the seller proof of pictures as well. They should give you a replacement while the have the manufacturer refund them for this big of a defect!

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
