Is my return line going to work?

Did my return line last night and hope this will work. Tell me what you think I didn't want to hard plumb it because I don't want the pipe in the way of things. I feel like this could work out ok. Just don't know if it going up then back down will be an issue.

It will work perfectly!
Just don't forget to put a clamp or tywrap on the pump side or you might risk a flood...

I have used zip ties for as long as I can remember and never had an issue. I use the zip ties that have a nylon tang so it will not corrode. Using a hose clamp under water will begin to rust rapidly even if it is made from stainless

Just FYI, they do make all plastic hose clamps. Available at hardware stores around here.

I think they are called snap grip or something like that.. They are a pain to get off and sometimes they end up breaking after you fiddle with it long enough.. I still prefer the much cheaper ty wraps..
All personal preference...

Ok thank you everyone! I was wanting to "clamp" the hose on the return pump but I didnt want to put a metal on in there obviously and didnt know I had options. I think Ill just roll with a zip tie.
