Interesting. My toadstool is usually open flat. I just ramped up my blues a little and he curled up almost immediately.
I've been watching him lately and at time he is fully extended, mostly under all blues, but seems irritated when full spectrum is on.
Is this pretty normal?

Toadstool are very strong corals and can take a lot of abuse, but I would reccomend not ramping lights like that for any coral. If you want to put your blues up 10%. Do that over a 10 day period. As far as the coral, it looks ok and should be able to handle it. If it turns worse, put the lights back to where they were for a week then ramp one percent each day

Just remember any percent of ramp up or down is a change in the amount of light and of coral isn't acclimated they can be shocked

Thank you Luke. It sounds like a good plan. I will do exactly that. I did ramp it down last week and he looks good.
