I just got back into the hobby and bought a few torches and other corals. I have my torches separated from the others but one of my torches doesn’t look very happy. From my understanding they are both Indonesian. Only difference is that one of them is thin and long and the other one is fat and short. Should I give it a quick dip and see where it goes from there or just wait?

Euphylia are a pain. Tank age? Parameters? Lighting and schedule? All of those can be significant factors in coral happiness. Flow doesn't seem to be an issue.

What is age of your tank?
Do you have any leather corals in tank ?
What is your calcium level?

Medium and irregular flow works best. The tenticles need to flow around. The stubby one might not be so stubby with a little more light and flow. If your parameters are good I'd just watch it. No dip yet.

That's a pretty dark video but flow looks to be fine.

Did you dip for pests coming into the tank recently?

I move/ remove from the water, Torches only if absolutely needed.

Also keep in mind, the Indo Region can produce torches with a lot of different tentacle expression.

I Have been dipping all my corals with coral RX before they go into my tank. I think this is white bugs because I saw a few crawling around on the fat one right after I posted
