According to their website, it's safe to use in all fresh/saltwater systems, with some caveats;
It can deplete oxygen, and apparently only binds NH3 for up to 72 hours.

I've only used it in a QT for emergencies and perform WCs right after, although I've put it in fish bags when selling to local reefers.

Do you have any personal experience with it?there are so many mixed reviews on it.
I think it's the same formula as Prime, just different branding. I'm basing this solely on the identical rotten egg smell that they both have.

Seachem implies that Prime has separate dechlorination and ammonia binding ingredients. Chlorguard sounds like the former and Amguard sounds like the latter.

Prime doesn't deplete oxygen. This is a 40X overdose and oxygen levels are still slightly higher than in my DT:

I don't trust any water conditioner to detoxify ammonia though.
