Is the ANEMONE history

I noticed one of my anemones clinging on to the rock where one of my huge torch sits. Appears to have white tentacles and looks shrunken

Would you say it pulls through ? Thought I’d give it a day to see if it has any life before putting it out of its misery

Are the tentacles still sticky to the touch. If they are then he may pull through

I’m just wondering why it became like this . I’ve seen where people say once the inside is showing it’s history
I’ve put a hole into the center of one of my btas it split into two healthy nems there are very forgiving imo as for why it could have been many of things from temp swings just think of changes made or was anything bothering it salt level changes

He was half sticking to the rock and I pulled him off to put him in basket

I’m thinking about it . I don’t have much swings , I would assume any of my sps would take a hit before the anemone.

I hope it pulls through I hear they are forgiving depending on what state they are in
