Is the intank media basket needed for the EVO 13.5

I'm trying to decide if it's necessary or not. Could I use the stock filtration and be fine? If I were to get the media basket, can someone please link me to what they would recommend going in it? I've been looking at many threads and it seems everyone puts different things in the intank media baskets.

Is it more important to buy an Intank Media basket with the necessary media or a new return pump and wavemaker? Trying to keep this hobby on a tight budget. Thanks!

You can use it how it is designed. Just be sure to clean the filter sponge occasionally. Flow depends on the corals you want. Keep it simple and upgrade when you think you need it.
