From my understanding, they were able to put elements in the same ration for both A and B that would have to be matched in 1 for 1 ration. So if you are mixing both together make sure it’s 1 to 1 ratio
The main or only reason is, is to make sure your dosing equal amounts of each.
Triton recommends dosing all four the same throughout.
If you mix them, then the mix would have to be doubled, as I have come to understand it.
Another words,
5ml of part 1,
5 ml of part 2,
So to dose equal amounts of 3a and 3b mixed you would need to dose 10ml. (Technically)
Or keep it separate and dose 5ml of each.

As ATL stated keep it all 1-1 ratio.

I don't know that it is a mystery or trade secret, it's designed to be a four part dosing system.
Customers just have an additional option to mix and make it a three part if they want.
I would gather that shipping is easier with four equal containers.
they would have to combine two 1000, and one 2000 ml containers.
Or two 10,000 ml jugs along with one 20,000 ml jug.
Or...… Just kidding and having some fun here. Don't hate me......
I mixed 3a and 3b for a while but eventually stopped after I picked up another doser. It seems the two solutions when combined made for a cloudy mixture rather than two relatively clear solutions. I didn't like that.
