My ICP test shows my tank has low iodine and says I should dose.
BUT.... Should I really dose? I mainly have softies and Euphyllias. Thanks!

Since nobody smarter than me answered I will
I do.
What I use is Kent Essential elements. So I am getting more than just Iodine. I have used it for more than 5 years. I use it per the directions on the bottle.
I always heard it helps shrimps and other things with their molts. I have also heard it doesn't.
I have never done an ICP test but my first one is in the mail to me from Marine Depot.

My iodine is consistently low also. I have some zoas and some are very happy and some are always curled up at the skirts, but mostly open. I wonder if this is why?

I dose Probidio IODI+ every other weekend. My iodine was low on my icp test. Haven't sent out another yet to verify it's adding what the tank needs.

I do the same. If you ever re-do the test let me know your findings. I wonder if it's to much iodine or just right. I know every tank is different but just wondering.

Will do. Probably going to send one out on a week or 2.

As far as noticing a difference, I can't really say. Everything looks the same to me. I have noticed what appears to be amphipod molts floating around in the water column since I started dosing.

I agree with the amphipod molts floating after starting dosing lol!! I see them all the time. I also have 2 cleaner shimp and the molt WAY more then before. I also read that to much Iodine can hurt shrimps because they molt to much but I dont know if thats true.
