Am trading some coral to make space in my tank and the person is giving me a pot of gold mushroom. Google isn't showing anything and Pictures aren't the best.

There is now! Coral names are pretty useless these days, anybody can give corals crazy names to up their value...

Unless it’s from a big vendor or there is a track record of frags going fairly high, my recommendation is to buy what you like. I buy some high level stuff but not a ton, the stuff I do is definitely well know.... but, you never know ..... could be the next big thing.
