I was wondering if anyone knew of an app that would use the cam on your phone to check the color of the water test?
I know that API came our with the AquaSpin but...no.
So you just do the test as normal then the app would analyze the color and give you a reading. SORTA like the Hanna testers. I am a bit colorblind so its hard for me when I need to test.

I don't believe such a thing exists. To implement it would be very difficult. You would have to take into account so many variable, including different camera resolutions by different manufacturers.

As you stated Hanna is one of the few that I know of that gives you a numerical value.

Automatic testers like ReefBot and Neptune's Trident also do it, but what they test for is a bit limited.

Mindstream was promising but they went bankrupt.
