Is there anything I should worry about with this Favia?

This is my Favia that has been in tank for a few weeks. The front of him he looks very healthy and every night his tentacles are out. On the back of him i noticed what looks to be a dead portion. I’m not sure if that was there when I bought it. It may have been. Could it just be where he was cut and placed on a frag and will eventually encrust over it.

Looks good to me. Already seems to be encrusting over the bare area.

It doing just fine.

I just purchased a 1” fresh cut frag that’s bare on all 4 sides.

It will grow over and be fine.
