Is this a bad acrylic seam?

So i purchased this FijiCube 2nd gen 20 sump.
I got it back on February 19th from BRS and i havnt used it yet because I am waiting for my tank to come in so its just been sitting in the tank stand in the garage. I was doing some work in the stand figuring where I want to put all my control boxes and such and noticed my one seam looked this way and I didnt notice it before it was the way the light caught it this time.
Is this a seam that didnt bond or is it just cosmetic and not an issue.

I emiled fijicube but waiting to hear back on a way i can send the photos over to them.

It hasn’t even seen water yet. I guess I will either return to brs or see if Fiji cube will send out another

That’s the best bet! It’s an easy fix but you shouldn’t have to repair it.. warranty it!

Replace it for a new one if possible. Might be caused by flame polishing before the seam was completely set up. Looks like the solvent was boiled off.

good thing this upgrade has been taking forever to do. I never noticed and then tonight it caught my eye. That woulda really sucked if the sump started to leak shortly after setting it up. A few seams have a few specs like this but this one seam is the worst of the bunch

I still havnt heard from Fiji cube. BRS got back and said that it looks fine. I told them I am waiting on fijicube response and have been told that the seam has delaminated and looking to swap it because i dont feel comfortable using it. So I guess I am going to see if fiji cube will replace it or if I have to have BRS do it
