I got this torch from my LFS and gave it a coralrx dip on entry to my tank. I've been scared to dip it more or scrape the stem until it's flesh looks a little better. I know it has a small feather Duster on it and those red Formanifera.

I can't fugue out what that flat weird spot is. I thought it was nothing more than that until I saw it close up tight against the skelton when I shined a light on it tonight. It was lifted up a tiny bit. I didn't think it was a flat form since it's never moved! Any ideas?

Hard to tell. I’ve had them in the past, but I could usually see them moving around. How long has it been in that one spot?

It looks to have stuff growing on it so I would say no. That and the fact its been in the same spot for months. Is it soft? If it were a flat worm you could poke at it to get it to move. I dont think its a flat worm.

Doesn't look like it to me but just pull out the frag and poke it.

I got some clips of it! Think it's dangerous or let it ride?

I thought we were discussing the bright red thing. Then I saw the video and saw this move! I would say that is a harmless filter feeding clam of some kind. It’s exact id I don’t know, but I would view it as a bonus. It won’t harm the torch as long as it’s below the flesh band, and even if the band grew, it would grow around this. An interesting and mildly beneficial cleaner, congrats!
