Hi all,
I want to build a refugium for my 29 gallon reef. I made this quickly. Do you guys think this will work well? I may make the 2nd and 3rd panels higher up. Blue thing is a heater. It will most likely be a 10 gallon. I don't have much space. I may try and get a 15 gallon high.

Looks good...When you're making the first and last baffle, just make sure you have a way for water to get through at the top in the event the baffle is plugged and the chambers overflow...

What are your plans for a skimmer? What is your primary goal for the refugium?

The design looks fine, but I think you may be better off utilizing an in sump skimmer rather thank a refugium

I'm not planning on using a skimmer. I want the refugium to replace my canister.
