is this a high aluminium amount

hi all,

I've just got back my ICP test results.
Iodine is low which i can correct but my aluminium amount is high. Is this amount an issue?

I did the test because some of my corals have receded, and I'm loosing polyps on my didgis and montis.
Alk is tested every 2 days and is 8.3-8.6.
I've attached the icp report.
Any help appreciated

I had problems with my leather coral with Al at 3 times that amount. I did not have problems with montipora or other SPS. You might want to look for a coral pest.

There was a great discussion on here about Al a long time ago. From what I remember the ionic species is not toxic. I always argued that it may be an irritant. IMO it is ok. To lower it the only thing you can do is water changes.

My expectation is that it is not high enough to be an issue.

Ionic aluminum is highly irritating to leather corals and will cause them to close up at 0.5 ppm. I showed that myself in the above article.

Thanks so much guys for the reassurance . Just wanted to make sure. I'll have to keep searching for what the issue could be.
