Jason Fox Jack-O-Lantern Leptoseris Frag, buddy... that's my guess the more I look at it. It's come a long way from your original pic, great job!

The frag is a favites or war coral. Definitely not a leptoseris.
Yes, quite possilby correct on that one...in original picture posted wasn't much defining marks. Now I'm not seeing the line pattern usually found with a lepto, unless it's the lighting the recent pic was taken under.

Been out of town but thought the same last week! I posted the update b/c I was still not too sold it was a Jack o Lantern...hard to tell while mostly dead.

While looking at Ebay Frags from the WWC post MACNA sale...Saw a "WWC Red War Coral" and was like...WELP

...picked up a few Leptos (Toxic Waste and BBQ Chip) tho in that sale to make it all right HOPEFULLY THEY MAKE IT HERE BEFORE THE HURRICANE HITS FLORIDA...And then traded some Blue Digi for a REAL Jack O Lantern from an awesome reefer in Lubbock last week....was worth the drive to see his tank alone!

PICS OF THEM ALL BELOW INCLUDING THE AWESOME SETUP IN LUBBOCK. Sorry just ebay thumbnails of the new Leptos till they arrive. Got up close on the Jack O Lantern with my Nikon tho!

Nice pieces!!! Since getting over my addiction, or should I say acquiring all of the fish i wanted for my system LOL I have been nursing back to health the corals It came with, as well as adding a ton load more. Mostly LPS(preference for euphyllia and acans), assorted mushrooms, 2 rainbow BTA (now 4 lol), and 3 SPS...odds and ends here and there coloring up all the rock.

Assortment of all my goodies lol/QUOTE]
Looks like a tank full of beauties! Watch those bubble tips- I started with one small one like yours and 8 months later I'm over run with them. Every time I turn around, another one splits.

Welp here we are again....I got my @WWC shipment in this morning...I think one isn't a BBQ Chip Lepto (Looks more like SPS, and is thicker than my leptos)...Any help with a positive ID? TINY orange polyps on it...I am kinda bummed b/c the BBQ Chip was real neat looking

Actually, I had 2 Rainbow BTA to start with...up until yesterday. [emoji85] lol they were both, if i had to guess 4-5 inches, in size. I woke up to 3 in my tank. [emoji848] Ok, cool. I fixed my two yr old lunch, and when I walked back to the tank my other large one decided it was a good day to part ways with half of itself as well. [emoji53]

The real smooth one on the left? And, did the one on the right come from them as well??

Also, curious if this was ordered from the WYSIWYG section or the general coral selection?

They are leptos but if it's wysiwyg from WWC I'm really surprised they came like that. I'd notify them with pics, there really great at taking care of issues.

I was waiting for a reply to say the same thing. My last order from them I picked an acan from the WYSIWYG...when it arrived there was an extra frag piece in my bag that I definitely did not order. [emoji53] So, I checked my packing slip...
First of all, yes, the red Aussie did look a little different than the original pic, BUT it was still gorgeous(nothing wrong with it at all). And, the one they included was even better. I'm pretty sure if you contact them, and it was a WYSIWG piece, they'd make it right if you aren't pleased.
1st pic is packing slip with image of what red acan was supposed to look like.
2nd pic is of the piece they sent instead-puffed up, obviously, feeding. Lol(it's already went from 3 to 7 polyps)
3rd pic is the free frag...id say I def came out ahead.
