Is this a Montipora or Nah?

I have no idea what this coral is. I accidentally got it at the LFS and I have no idea what it is. Please help.

Probably some kind of green star polyp (GSP)
give it it's own island or it'll spread

Was it already on the rock? How do you accidentally get a coral? Haha they like pretty much any conditions. Many people give them their own island in the tank to stop them from spreading all over.

like the others have said, either green star polyps or some other kind of encrusting gorgonian

I pointed at the coral I wanted then got distracted looking at the fish I was getting and didn’t pay attention to what he grabbed. Totally my fault for not paying attention
