Is this a Mushroom?

Ok guys, my LFS Owner told me that this was a mushroom of some sort and he wanted me to raise it and hopefully produce more for him. I don't know if it is a mushroom or some sort of anemone as when I hold my finger on the tentacles, it almost feels like it is shocking me (like a lite battery shock). It is soft and starting to stretch out. When we spot feed it, it takes it pretty quickly and wraps completely into itself.

Yes, hairy mushrooms are of the genus Rhodactis. This looks to be a young St Thomas Hairy (Rhodactis) Mushroom.
