I noticed a clear jelly substance at the base of my gigas, near the foot. Inspected the clam and a nearby maxima and could not find any pyramid snails. This is what the jelly like substance looks like. Any idea if this is an egg sack?

Let me try upload one more time.

Still can’t open the file, but no harm would be done by brushing it off

Let me try a picture instead. When I took out the clam, the gel sorta fell onto the sand. So I scooped up as much as I could.

There are gravel that look like shells. I checked and those are pyramid snails...just part of my gravel mix.
