So I've read ivermectin can get rid of them, and I have access to it. It's a new frag and I've not seen any on other corals. Should I just pitch it or try and treat it?

You can treat OUTSIDE the tank. It will remain on the rock so rinse.

Thanks fully the frag is on a plug and I can pull it out really easily.

If I find one on a new coral while it’s in QT, I cut that portion of the coral down to the plug to be sure you’re fully evicting it

It doesn’t have to be a big deal. Just snip out that small area with bone cutters and put a glob of glue there.
