What this weird little worm

I just found this little banded worm/tentacle in my live rock. It doesn’t look like any polychaete or spionid to me.

Peanut worm. The video shows how it basically "folds out of itself" you can see its "introvert" (anterior section) coming out of itself like you can push the toe of a sock into the heel until the whole thing turns inside-out and disappears into a lump.

Peanut worms are generally considered reef safe.

Some peanut worms have a weird symbiotic relationship with corals that make them look like parasites by drilling into coral tissue. But apparently its actually beneficial. It's a very rare sight though.

I've not seen a dangerous peanut worm yet, you should be fine
