That’s funny that you put this. Just last night I was looking at a gorg I have in the tank and thought, the polyps sure do look similar to the kinds growing from the rock! Thanks for posting this~

After watching the video though, I’m not so sure... for one, the one in the video has a mat, and mine does not have a mat but is singular polyps that are fully inside the pores of the liverock

If you want to take one for the team you could try to frag the mystery coral on a plug and then just toilet the rest
