I recently bought a Mexican turbo snail that was sold to me as a snail with anemone attached. I am getting concerned that it is Aiptasia. Please help me ID.

Yes

Yup definitely aptasia. They sold exactly what was advertised: Snail with an anemone attached. The anemone just happens to be a pest anemone!

I would say not aiptasia. There are many, many species that can look like this. It is hard to explain, this one holds itself differently from an aiptasia. The color patterns also remind me of a few other species I’ve seen tag along on clam/snail shells over time.

Looks like Aiptasia to me. Kind of nifty to see it hitch a ride on the snail. If you have a small syringe, you can fill a very minor amount of hydrogen peroxide and inject it. Instant disintegration.
