Im not sure what this is in leaning on flukes or black ich either way its not good will be doing a FW dip but should i place him in QT after the dip for high observation and maybe fluke/worm meds or pop him back in DT too not overly stress him? Any information is appreciated should i FW dip him with some anti bacterial meds to flush out the wounds?

Swimming eating grazing everything appears normal at the moment

But will definitely be running poly labs medic in DT for 10 days and soaking everything in garlic to contain the outbreak

Should i keep my UV where it is flow wise (setup for ich) or is a higher turnover beneficial?

It looks like hypermelanization from coral stings to me.
Watch if it starts to spread but I wouldn’t be too worried.
I made a thread couple weeks back about this foxface when I noticed 3 black dots along the body we thought maybe the cleaner had bothered him too much but when I looked again today he was littered with them

Have the original spots stayed or gone away?
Gone at a guess but I would need to check in the morning they are weird spots though when I took the picture it was really bad but as the lights went down later in the day the spots were barely visible would thing be a coral sting sysptom?

I believe the answer was it could be mucus plugs or irritation from a coral but I might be thinking of the wrong thread. In any case, Black ich may not require treatment and can be a self-limited issue. Here is a nice article describing it in more detail:
Note that this article recommends treatment

it doesn’t match the symptoms when I look back at this article
  • Tiny black spots on the fish's body (mine varies in size from tiny to large)
  • Rubbing or scratching against substrate or tank decor (non happy swimming around)
  • Lethargy (swims grazes everythin)
  • Faded color (looks good as new *minus the black spots*)
  • Loss of appetite (eating like a pig)
im possiblely leaning more towards a overly keen cleaner wrasse or coral sting I have to say this morning though he has almost a mucus trail stuck to his tail fin if that narrows it down

Additionally there are other articles that suggest with good water quality - and siphoning the sand, that it will go away on its own.
