Is this bleaching or growing?

I've had this monti cap for over a year and its outside ring was purplish now in last couple days has gotten whitesh?

Can't tell from the pic but a white rim usually means growth on caps.

I will try to get one tomorrow where it sits is bluer even during the white light hrs.. I have read they get white rimed when growing but this is the first I seen my do it the center color is still an amazing green no color loss except for the edges all the way around

Probably growing, since it's isolated to the rim/edge. I'd expect to see it all over if it was bleaching.

That was my thoughts the center green looks great still I will post more pics once I'm home today

Looks like growth to me. Usually if it were bleaching it would tend to start on one edge or section and spread inward.

Round the outter edges means its growing.
