I finally knocked back my GHA, but now it looks like I may have cyano. Does this look like cyano to you? If so my plan is to just leave it alone no?

How did you make out with this?

We too were having issues with GHA and got that to subside, but have a little cyano issue now.

Still have a little cyano issue. Nothing that is a big concern to me right now. Water changes helps, but I’ll take it over GHA any day.

Do you have a microscope? It's really hard to ID with just a picture under blue light.

I see a bunch of small “circles” moving around.

I'm afraid those could be dinoflagellates, commonly referred to as Dinos. Cyano would look like strings.

Ugh. I thought I beat them. They are only on the sandbed and it’s like a mat. Green in color. I’m about to do a water change and suck up from the sandbed. The circles have no tails though does that matter?

Dinos won't have tails. Check out the guide I posted above, it also have a ID guide to identify which type of dinos it is

Also this Facebook group is fantastic. It's pretty much filled with Dino experts and they give great advice from identification on specific type to treatment advice and plans

Thanks for your help I don’t use Facebook but I will research the other thread you sent. I beat it once when it was the slimy snotty kind so I’m confident I can beat this kind. I think I know how I got it as well.
