Is this DI Resin Depleted?

Haven't yet added a TDS meter to my DI system. Going to do in with membrane switch out to increase capacity.

Can you tell based on the color, if this DI resin is completed depleted, or has life in it?

I'm told orange = depleted, but is the middle done or is the water making it appear to have more life?

I would say Yes Buy a TDS meter under $10 save a lot of grief in the future

Impossible to tell from looking at DI filters. Only way is to use a TDS meter. I've had mine be completely orange for months but still produce 0 TDS water.

Yup, just haven't installed the meter.

Just used the handheld TDS meter...showing product water at 0 still, so that's good! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Mine’s mostly orange and TDS has risen from zero to one.
