Is this diatoms or dino?

I had this brown outbreak all over my sand with bubbles trapped in it. I took a couple samples and it looks like this. What do you guys think?

Looks like dinos. The best way to confirm the diagnosis as dinos and figure out a plan for treatment is to identify the strain with a microscope. If you do not have a microscope, bring a sample to your lfs and they might have one there. Another way to test if it’s dinos versus diatoms is to do the coffee filter test. There are plenty of threads on reef to reef that tell you about that and there are good instructional videos on YouTube as well.
