Is this flashing?

Hi guys so I’ve had a saffron coral goby for about 3 weeks now has been perched a lot looks healthy (to me any) but I’m unsure if it’s sick today it’s started “flashing” can’t see any visible white spots or anything like that but u have noticed it won’t take any food when I fed it today

That is flashing. Coral gobies/clown gobies regularly don't take well to prepared food initially. My suggestion is try feeding them some frozen fish eggs or brine shrimp. I've had the best success with that. They usually take it more than other foods after first addition. They're also pretty sensitive to skin irritation at first in my experience. With the cyano in the photo, it could just be a reaction to irritation based on water quality. Hard to say. Big thing is just making sure it keeps getting proper nutrition.

I've not done it myself but there is a method to do a freshwater dip to check for flukes. I've read it can help with relief also but is not a treatment. The procedure is available online and probably here. I'm sure someone familiar with doing it will comment.

Thank you could there be any other reason for flashing as I’ve googled and I’ve now gone into panic mode

Seems to be. I do not recommend FW dip with a fish like this as for many small fish, can be stressful and even result in death

That could be flashing due to a disease, or it could be just something caught in its gills, like a bit of food or detritus. The best way to tell is to watch if the behavior continues, that is more likely flukes. Also, the not feeding is a serious symptom....
