Is this Frogspawn or Hammer ?

Is this a Frogspawn or Hammer coral, I was told it was a Hammer when I got it 2 years ago and it has grown like crazy ! I love the coral I was just curious which it is? Thanks!!

it looks like a hammer from this picture.

Shouldn’t matter one or the other though since they have the same care requirement, and can be next to each other

I love the coral, but I’ve seen corals that look exactly like this before that were Hammers, I’ve seen ones where the end of the tentacle are more I or hammer shaped called hammers, and I’ve seen posts where a coral that looks just like this is a frogspawn! Haha thanks for any info!

Looks like a classic indo hammer, the ones from indo tend to have more round tips with an extra 1-2 tips here and there. Some refer to those as frammers


This one is more more of a frammer frogspawn look

That does not look like a hammer to me. It looks exactly like my frogspawn. Most of the polyp heads are round, but there are also many heads that have a sort of double (or triple) tip that give them an oblong shape that looks sort of like a hammer.
