Ever since I discovered the frammer coral (mix of frogspawn and hammer), I’ve been wondering how rare are these, how is this coral created, and how many of you have one? Here’s a picture of mine

No frammers are totally a thing. They're not hybrids just look like a hybrid between a hammer and a frogspawn. They're a species of euphyllia all their own I just can't remember right off the top of my head. They're not necessarily rare as much more uncommon then hammers frogspawns and octo and also more highly sought after. All that equates to more valuable. A regular green one like yours is usually about 75-100 per head. Google euphyllia frammer coral and you can easily find more info on them. You have a nice piece!

Woah!? 75-100 per head?! Wow. Mines been splitting recently (the picture above is a month or two old). So I have around 8 heads (2 baby ones not included).

Wow I just can’t beleive I got a somewhat rare coral from a chain store (they’re only in my state). They just labeled it frogspawn and I believe gave it to us for either $15 or $20 a head
