I had bought this from LFS forgotten what is the name only know is soft coral. Anyone can help. Thanks

Non photosynthetic meaning??? It was a bit bigger and taller last week
 
You have to feed it to keep it alive. Phyto, reef roids, etc.
 
Meaning it does not use light to live...and solely survives from constant feedings in the wild....i would return if possible ...
 
NPS. As stated above. man, i dont get why some lfs say softies when clearly not. However if you decide not to return in, id suggest buying it food. Reef Roids are my favorite but BRS Reef Chili is great as well. If you want you can also buy live Phyto via Algaebarn or where ever else you can find some.
