Is this good polyp extentsion

I got this purple bonsaii for 5 dollars on a livesale. My other sps are growing and doing great. Im new to the “acro gang” just wondering how im doing. Im not noticing any growth had it for about 3 weeks. The tips are really purple and the base is a more of a brownish color. I can see nee polyps growing too.

I've had my purple bonsai 8 months and it just now started growing pretty well (had to be fragged twice due to STN). I think these types take a while to settle in.
