I added a blue throat trigger a week ago and noticed a small white spot on his fin a couple days ago. I couldn’t recall if he had it when I bought him so figured I’d keep a close eye on him. Today I just noticed a new white spot just about his eye. Is this ich? Any help would be much appreciated!!

I don't believe it to be, too big to be ich. Could be flukes or a parasitic isopod. Very hard to tell from the pic i'm afraid :(

thank you! It’s hard to get a clear photo. Wish he would sit still for a second . Here’s a couple more if it helps.

Are the spots raised a bit and cottony, fibrous or cauliflower like in texture? Or flat and filmy?

theyre definitely not raised. The one on his fin “maybe” looks a little cottony but I’m not committing to that. But they’re both flat.
